IBA Week Committee

In March every year, the IBA Week will take place. During this week, IBA students will have the opportunity to learn more about their minor and career possibilities. During this week, several firms will introduce themselves to students who are interested in their field of expertise.
What does the committee do?
The tasks of the IBA Week committee consist of inviting companies for the event and maintaining contact with these companies. The committee will create and execute a promotional campaign to get as many students to participate in the event. Furthermore, the committee arranges the location and catering on campus and creates a detailed program and personal schedules of the days to ensure that it will be a success.
The week will be divided in the following days:
- Accounting day
- Finance day
- Management day
- Marketing day (Organised by the Marketing Expedition Committee)
This means that in this committee, you will work in smaller groups who will focus on a certain day. To make sure that the days fit together, there will be a general chairman who will keep the overview of the entire week.
What does the committee learn?
The committee will first together think out the concept of the next edition of the IBA Week. They will need to contact a lot of companies by telephone in order to convince them to participate in the days. After the companies are arranged, the committee really needs to think of how to make the event appealing to students and to have a satisfactory number of participants.

For new active members, the deadline is September 12, 23:59.
