First Year Committee

This committee is responsible for organizing activities with an informal focus for all first year IBA students.

What does the committee do?
The First Year committee organizes all kinds of, mostly informal, events for first year IBA students. This is to make the first year IBA students familiar with Asset | International Business & Management and for the group to get to know each other. Activities you can think of are a First Year Beer Cantus, a Parents Day, a BBQ at the end of exams, etc.

What will the committee learn?
In this committee you will learn to use your creativity to think of fun new activities. Furthermore, you will learn how to organize such activities and promote it to all students. Together with your ‘team’ (i.e. other committee members) you will work towards organizing an event, so you will develop your team work skills.

Interested in joining this committee?
Every year, we have two periods in which you can apply to become active at Asset IB&M. For more information about the procedure to become active, please visit this section. Of course, you can also just get more information and ask for our Becoming Active Guide in an email to our Vice-Chairman! Deadline for application for active membership was January 6, 23:59.

Keep in mind, some committees have already started in September, but currently have spots available. To check this, check the number of total members and compare it to the current total amount of members.
